A few days later I went to the ER due to tightening contractions every 3-5 minutes and they found I was 2cm dilated at that point. They gave me magnesium and slowed it all down and I was discharged home on Procardia. Two weeks later (this Monday, at 34+1) he noticed I was now 3cm dilated and more than 50% effaced.

I was 3cm at 37 weeks and still didn’t deliver until 40weeks exactly. That was with my second baby. I honestly am surprised they even said 1cm dilated!
