I then stopped, as I lost interest in cinema. Then, once I regained it, I started streaming stuff. However, I recently got a 4K player, and I am not going back. Couldn’t disagree more. A 2K DI is at 4:4:4 chroma. A 4K at 4:2:0 will retain the full chroma resolution of the 2K DI, while a 2K Blu-ray will only have 1/4 of the chroma resolution of the original 2K DI. If the movie RRR released in Japanese language then surely it will be out on Japanese BluRay with original movie language ( which is Telugu here). You can absolutely back up a Bluray to your hard disk and leave the encryption in place. The problem is, such a backup will be inaccessible to you unless you break the encryption. I don't understand how an encryptiontechnique could prevent you from simply copying the data as-is into anISO and then just treat it like a "regular" blu-ray disc?
