Hey guys, I just wanted to share with you guys a financial budgeter that I made on Google Sheets. I know there's a lot of software and spreadsheets out there already, but for me, I always enjoyed manually inserting to make sure I keep a finger on the pulse.Pay is very low compared to the area. 2.5 years of experience. Base pay is 105k. Our system groups all surgical PAs into tiers so same tier as general surgery. Somewhat frequent opportunities for overtime which is hourly plus a differential rate. I pick up 1 overnight shift a month for about $1200 so total income is about 120k.Only ACGME violation might have been that stretch on vascular. The rule is 80hr/wk averaged over 4 weeks. So you could work 120 hrs without violating the rules if you compensate with shorter weeks that month. Same goes for days off.
