Found out I could install CFW on my release PS3 a month ago. Did it and haven’t been happier with my PS3 until now. For CFW installation you can use ps3xploit.net which is still very much up. No - ps3xploit.com and ps3xploit.net are two different sites. The latter can be used to jailbreak CFW-compatible PS3s.
