we remove the pellet grate, add magnetic hooks for grate storage and add a fire black gasket to the lid. simple modification to the pit boss pellet smoker.Seriously, cause let me tell you what and idk about the temps in other pit boss models but my grate temp from left to right had about a 50 degree swing. Throw on a big ass brisket or have multiple slabs of ribs going across the grate and that 50 degree difference is a nightmare.
