The game "Nemesis" always has had a bit of a sour spot in my life. Not for any fault of its own. As an aspiring game designer, I was inspired, in 2016, to begin creating a board game inspired by one of my favorite video games: Alien Isolation. I spent months and months developing this game and making it my own thing. The main mode of Nemesis: Aftermath is the Epilogue Mode, a short (45-60 min.) 5-turn game, which is played after a regular game. At the start of this Epilogue, an unspecified amount of time has passed since the events that occurred in the Nemesis base game. It’s not a tightly designed game but the experience of playing it and the storytelling it provides makes it one hell of a ride.
