I’m not in the class, nor do I have to take it. I’m just curious why everyone is so mad. When I took it we had a site for taking quizzes, Lon-capa for assignments, and Brightspace for other quizzes. Also you had to pay for the quiz software ($30 usd). It was super annoying, it could've all been done on one site.The best way I can describe it is as an expansion of what you learn in the intro stats class + heavy bio context + R. Honestly, this class could be renamed intro to R and it'd probably be a better description. That said, your grades are mostly based off quizzes and homework regarding conceptual knowledge, so you can be terrible at the R portion ...
