CL means there is a clutch issue. If the clutch is not adjusted properly causing the clutch brake not to slow the engine down the trans mission will not work properly. Check to be sure that the clutch brake is 1/2" away from the front trans bearing retainer with the clutch released. That usually solves the problem.
