FFS cheers dude, that worked for me, I had been inputting about 9 or 10 generated device passwords and kept getting the QR code on screen saying "Please log in to playstion.com/accts/device blah blah blah", changed my actual password, generated a new device password and it lets me in now.Step 3: Generate a device setup password (would recommend making a note of this device password and/or taking a screenshot for future use and reference | also would recommend starting from scratch if you have any previous passwords from having 2-factor authentication).
