Hi Tom, There are some proof marks on the frame, but the only writing is the serial number, 68 with a proof mark after it, on the trigger guard and Walther P38 Cal 9mm on the slide. On the other side of the frame isMade in West-Germany. That's all there the writing and numbers there are.
