Here is how I did it. 1.Push the ignition button twice with your foot OFF the brake pedal while sitting in the drivers seat and door closed. 2.Within 30 seconds of doing step 1 push and hold the latch release on the drivers belt buckle and insert/remove the belt buckle 20 times. I counted out loud.It's a matter of it working properly. Short of prying open the female side of the buckle and wiring the connection into a closed circuit so the car thinks the seatbelt is always buckled, idk man. Well, the obvious solution at the time would have been to simply buckle the seatbelt, even if no one is in the seat.You can do it with the Carista App. I did mine on day 1.
