2 posts · Joined 2018. #1 · May 11, 2018. I have a 2016 Chevy Colorado Z71 with Bose sound system. Over the last few months when I first turn on my truck my radio volume shoots up to the max volume. I have to continuously turn the volume knob down to keep it from being so loud for about 2 minutes before I'm actually able to control the …Intermittent radio sound, door chime. 2004 Silverado 1500 Z71 factory radio. Radio sound won't come on for approx. 15 minutes. All other radio functions work. While the sound is off the door chime doesn't work either. The turn signal does work and makes the clicking sound. No sound from speakers intermittent. Bose system and everything is powered up and looks normal just no sound. Its happening almost half my starts now. Been going on a few months I am guessing.
