Treble Choir is an entry level chorus for treble voices. The intent is to introduce and reinforce good vocal technique, basic musicianship skills through singing high quality women's chorus music from unison to four parts.This treble-voiced choir brings a new level of class to the stage as they enter with pearls adorning their necks. They celebrate the uniquely beautiful sound of women's voices joining together in harmony. WoCo is a force to be reckoned with and embraces the motto “We are one.” The UMD Treble Choir comprises soprano, alto and mezzo-soprano singers from throughout the campus community. Since 2001, the group’s membership has brought together undergraduate and graduate students from all of the major colleges and schools at the University of Maryland.
