We are looking at Ocean View rooms at Andaz Maui or Ritz Carlton, Kapalua. I am looking for some thoughts on which resort might be better for honeymooners. We have never been to Maui and are really looking forward to it. Room size is not a top priority. I really would stick with the Sheraton. I love the Napili /Kapalua area, but when I walked through the Ritz, I wasn't impressed. To me, the pools are better at Sheraton. Plus it is closer to shopping, dining, and beach access. I'd bet you will get a room with a better view at the Sheraton than the Ritz too. 5.Answer 1 of 7: Have heard great things about both, but poss. location of Ritz not so good? For those not wanting to walk up and down the "hill" they offer golf cart service. Although Kapalua can be windy we have always loved the place.
