Custodes are not hard to paint. They have a limited number of clear edges and many big surfaces and their details are well defined so you won't have trouble to paint them. For white armor I would recommend that you start with a light grey (e.g. Ulthuan Grey), take Nuln Oil or thinned Drakenhof Nightshade to shade it and then drybrush with White ...I'd also take a minimum of 15 obsec custodes (saggs or guardians).
