Having done both mass kills day 1-3 and some small teams (4 man, not using the red click exploit) Crossbows are for sure the way to go. In masses you can get away with using whatever but Acb/Zcb are definitely better for smaller teams. I've been enjoying the bowfa. I am 550kc and have only chinned kree for like 5 of those kills. The others were with acb and buckler sitting in a corner prayer flicking and brew / restoring when needed with b2p and blood barrage and I averaged 15ish kill trips depending on food drops.Acb was worth more because dhcb only had +10% bonus damage and accuracy against dragons prior to ds2. A month after ds2 was released this was changed to +30%, which made dhcb actually worth using. Outside of dragons, acb only has +5 range attack and +2 range over dhcb, both of which are negligible improvements.Probably still a bit better with 99 range to use blowpipe. Timesave with bgs is pretty marginal. It's like a 11 second timesave on average which is less than what you'd get with rigour which is far more consistant and you'll have more invy space for food -> more kills per trip.
