Yep that was the first thing I did when I got to firelink shrine after spending the souls from killing the asylum demon. the few souls I would've had from making the run weren't worth much in the end. It took a while to get the stats I needed to 2 hand it, but that was a pretty fun playthrough. to use an end game weapon almost from the beginning.At this point, with the Lordvessel in hand, you can talk to Frampt or jump down the hole to reach the Kiln to place the Lordvessel. You then are tasked to kill the four Lords. However, if you do this, you will miss out on a Covenant later on. As long as you don't place the Lordvessel on the altar right now, you can get the Covenant.
