Customer service has been good however I seem to be in contact with them very frequently for a brand new grill at its price. I have a 1050, and while I have read about others who have switch failures, it has not happened to me...yet. I will say, I thought masterbuilt said the switches were supposed to be metal now, but mine definitely aren't. They do appear different than the original, but still not metal.
