Putting a 5.0L V8 in a 2006 ranger. How much work is involved in swapping my 3.0L V6 out of my 2006 ford ranger sport ext cab for a 5.0L V8. I am also planning on lowering the truck and I don't know if there is anything that would prevent this the swap if I do lower it. First ever truck build. My 96 Mazda looks like the same chassis as the 83, the 4 banger is still running.
