Glock 30s vs 30sf
I have the G22Gen4, and the G23C. The G23C is a bit larger than the Defender, and being compensated, I dought that it is a valid comparison. Conceal ability is an issue since I'm not a large guy. Clearly, using an IWB holster, the Defender is easier to conceal than the G30. The 30 Gen4 is 3.53 oz. heavier than the 30 SF, exact same width than the 30 SF, and length than the 30 SF. The XD45 is right in between the 30 and 36 in terms of width. I was surprised when I put the XD next to the 36 and the 36 was just a touch thinner. Not 100% sure but I think every 30S uses the 30SF frame. May not see a Gen4 30S for quite some time. Why, Glock is transitioning the whole line to gen 4. They already make a Glock 30 gen 4 frame.
