I got a baffle strike the first time I shot my Omega 300 at the range. Luckily it didn't catch the end cap and barely touched the last 3 baffles. I didn't worry about it. It didn't change the sound or flash suppression so I just figured it was broken in. For every baffle strike you see on Reddit, there’s millions of dead air cans or any other brand that have run flawlessly. Mine is a sandman K, using the keymo and a properly mounted and rockset brake on the barrel to prevent walk offs. 1000s of rounds and no issues on either a 30-06 or 5.56. A 6.5 5.56 barrel is going to be extremely punishing on the blast baffle.
