I shoot my TS12 all the time but haven’t touched my KSG in two years. The TS is faster to reload, softer shooting, balanced better, faster times in competition against the KSG, and all around more fun (IMHO). Then the malfuntions are usually user induced as it seems we all want to shoot way too fast. The ks7 is just so darn compact and light for its round count

Muzzle brakes don't actually work on a shotgun due to the physics of shotguns...due to the pressure drop from gas expansion in such a wide bore barrel venting what pressure is left (hundreds of psi only at the muzzle) is relatively ineffective. But a brake does add weight to the firearm.

So I’m getting a home defense shotgun for my apartment and am torn between Keltec’s ks7, or a mossberg 500 or 590. I am drawn to the ks7 for the sole reason that my apartment is quite tight/small and the decreased length I think would be a benefit, but J am also concerned about the reliability of ks7 as the KSG was kinda a flop in that department so I’m told.
