There is some light surface rust on the outside if a few places, but nothing that some elbow grease won't take care of. The porcelain coating on the grates is perfect, except for the usual grease deposits.

Anyway, I have only used it once so far, 5 degrees outside in Colorado and dumping about 1 foot of snow that night.

Jan 20, 2016 · Best I can tell is it officially a New Braunfels 1400 Universal Water Smoker. The metal is about 1/8” inch so I assume it is from the Char Broil days and not an original New Braunfels. I am searched the archives here at SMF as well as several other forums and there are not more than a handful of posts about it that I can find.
