For others who come across this problem of "traction control light and Stabilitrak service" lights on and loss of engine power, my problem turned out to be a bad coil pack. It was getting dark and I removed the engine cover with the motor running. Being slightly dark, I could see the coil pack arcing on the head.Its a gm bulletin which may be covered under warranty. Your car falls under this bulletin but that does not mean its a recall or warranty repair. However either way its not somthing we can fix here so has to go to dealer regardless.
