A high level won't take too many tranq to knock out. When it's knocked out, feeding it a soothing balm will allow u to tame it quickly, even with regular raw meat. Don't forget to separate the plesiosaur u want from others in the area.Think about this: The taming in ark is crazy. Jun 18, 2018 · Tranq it down! Countless players can and will argue as for what is the the best method to tranq down quickly a giga. I used both tranq darts and arrows methods. Arrows are hands down the most efficient and quick method of doing so. 1- Far cheaper to craft, far cheaper to fix 1-2 ascendant crossbox than a single asc longneck. Dino, dino level, and weapon strength play a huge role in how much each arrow/dart does. A level 5 raptor and a level 5 spino will take different arrows from a bow and a level 150 raptor and 150 spino will take drastically different arrows from a crossbow.
