3 posts · Joined 2013. #1 · Jan 13, 2018. Hi. I've got a 2012 Liberty; 100k miles; currently I'm not getting any heat on the driver's side floor vent. Passenger side works fine. I've got heat out of the front & side vents just not the floor vent. Obviously it's not the thermostat. Will probably need to take it to Jeep dealer.46662 posts · Joined 2012. #2 · Mar 21, 2017. When the temperature control was set cooler, it ripped all the teeth off the gear because the door was jammed past the closed position. The big problem was unsticking the blend door. (4 T20 screws) 3: Remove actuator shield (3 T20 screws) 4: Remove mode door actuator linkage if it didn't fall off. 5: Remove center vent (3 philips screws) and stick hand down to reach door.Do not bother disconnecting the battery. You will need to move the seat while you're working on removing the base leather. DO start with the seat in the most up-right position and remove the 4 (15mm) bolts that attach the frame mech to the car.
